Streptococcus mitis

 

Streptococcus mitis is a common and normally harmless bacteria from the nose, mouth and throat in humans, which commonly consists of chains of cells.  The colony recovered from Surveyor  was cultured in a bacterial medium at body temperature (37C, 98.6F).
