Peace in Space is about global collaboration. We would like you to become involved in the project - at first hand, so we'd like you to submit projects to us that we can share with everyone else who uses the website.

Design and build a scale model of your idea of Space Station 2020

Collect some scrap materials and make a scale model of what you think the Space Station of 2020 would look like. Explore the Space Station website to find out more about Space Stations and living and working in Space.

When you've finished making your model, photograph it and send it to us at interactive@theguardians.com

If you need any help doing any of this ask your parents or your teacher.

Design and build the interior of one MODULE of the Space Station 2020

Collect some scrap materials and make a mock-up of the inside of one space station Module. Explore the Space Station website to find out more about Space Stations and living and working in Space.

When you've finished making your alien, photograph it and send it to us at interactive@theguardians.com

If you need any help doing any of this ask your parents or your teacher.

Draw, Paint or sketch your idea of what Mars might look like

Make a picture of a Martian landscape, Mars as seen from Space or a Martian Base where people are working. When you've finished your picture, photograph it and send it to us at interactive@theguardians.com

If you need any help doing any of this ask your parents or your teacher.

Make an alien that might be able to live on Mars

Collect some scrap materials (clean stuff!) and make an alien creature that you think may be able to live on Mars. Explore the Mars website to find out the environmental conditions that might affect your alien.

When you've finished making your alien, photograph it and send it to us at interactive@theguardians.com

If you need any help doing any of this ask your parents or your teacher.

Describe your vision of man's future in space in words, pictures or music.

We want your idea of what life in Space might be like in 2020. You can either:

  • Describe it in words (200 max)
  • Or you can illustrate your ideas with pictures (5 max)
  • or send us some suitable sound or music that you have made
  • or any combination of the above

When you've finished your project, send it to us at interactive@theguardians.com

If you need any help doing any of this ask your parents or your teacher.
